Okay so lets get into it with hair!
I do my hair once a week and can typically get away with not doing it again until it gets washed. This works for me having little time with three busy girls. For my weekly routine I add products and do a straighten and curl combo. Daily I brush it quick, maybe do a little dry shampoo here and there and if it needs it I’ll do a 30 second straighten just on the ends quick. After my weekly wash i use both the curl manifesto products tagged in my amazon store. After that I blow dry it or let it air dry (if i have time) and then use a curling iron and a flat iron to get my desired look. I use rave hairspray it’s an 80s classic and also panteen pro v heat protector. If my hair looks awful and I’m pressed for time on a non wash day, I’ll just quickly pull it back in a sleek low pony or my favorite fix is an Ewamay hat. No fuss! Also I have to add I’m really happy with my cut, I’ll be a short hair girl (for now, anyways)!
Again, these products are what work for me and it’s not intended for you to go buy every single one of them but to guide you into being the best and easiest you!
I really hope you stick with me in this define your style series. To come there will be a ton of exercises to help you define your style and cut your getting ready time in half. Another goal is for you to be able to know your style and what you need so you don't have "nothing to wear" or things sitting on the hangers with tags. All the coming exercises will help define these things and I hope you do them with me! Fashion doesn’t come natural to anyone. You have to put time and thought and intent into curating your closet and YOUR OVERALL LOOK, and that is why I decided to start with body first before you dress. Those who say it comes easy are lying. The ones that look the most effortless well let’s just say there was a lot of effort put into that outfit! So let’s take away that stigma!
